On August 5-7 within the framework of working visit General Director of "High Voltage Electric Networks" Company Artur Baghdasaryan met with the Deputy Energy Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Alireza Dawmi, Export and Development Bank, as well as with the leaders of "Sanir" company. A number of issues were discussed during the meeting concerning to the process of "Construction of the 400 kV third power transmission line and the Noravan substation" project. Within the framework of the project were also discussed issues connected to extension of Loan agreement deadline and revision of interest rates.
Participants of the meeting highlighted the importance of “Iran-Armenia 400 kV third power transmission line and Noravan substation" which is of great importance for the energy systems of two countries for increasing the power transmission capacity between Armenia and Iran energy systems, reliability of connection between the southern and central parts of our Republic and security of energy systems of two countries in parallel.
