A working meeting with Iranian partners was held in the 220/110/35/6 kV "Shinuhayr" substation of Goris branch by the leadership of Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of RA Ashot Manukyan during which were discussed the implementation of construction works being implemented in the framework of “Iran-Armenia 400kV third power transmission line and construction of “Noravan” substation” project.
In this outgoing meeting have participated Adviser of Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of RA Ara Simonyan, General Director of HVEN CJSC Artur Baghdasaryan, Vice Ambassador in RA Shahbaz Solbi Ajin, Counsellor of Ambassador Ali Naser Sobhani Pur and representatives of “SANIR” company.
They studied the construction process of "Noravan" 400/220/20-kV substation, discussed the issues of completion of time schedule and project within the planned deadlines.
Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of RA Ashot Manukyan welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of Iran-Armenia 400kV third power transmission line and construction of “Noravan” substation”, the role and importance of increasing the electricity exchange capacity between the energy systems of Armenia and Iran, communication reliability of southern and central regions of our republic, power system security and ensuring the reliability of parallel energy systems of two countries.
He mentioned that "SUNIR" company should strictly follow the performance of its contractual obligations and should be retained the technical requirements of construction norms and regulations.
General Director of "High Voltage Electric" CJSC Artur Baghdasaryan noted that the performance of implemented works of primary importance within the framework of this project. By his wording the company has provided all conditions for complete implementation of all activities. He also emphasized that in parallel with the improvement of weather conditions, large-scale activities should be implemented for the effective implementation of the project.
