On April 19 was held a working meeting of HVEN CJSC and representatives of company Fichtner, during which were discussed the results of implemented works and the further plans in the frameworks of “Caucasian Electric Transmission Network - "Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Phase I + II A- and optional Phase II B” Consulting services.
General director of HVEN CJSC Aram Ananyan has stressed the importance of the public interest to the project and pointed out that the tender, as it is foreseen, will be announced at the end of May 2016.
With the view of improving the efficiency of works, it was decided to implement field surveys of alternative 5, 400 kV line route, Ddmashen / Marash / Kamo substations, power plants of Hrazdan and field surveys of 220 kV transmission lines, Ayrum substation, as well as Transmission lines to Georgia.
General director of HVEN CJSC Aram Ananyan has informed that according to the legislation of Republic of Armenia, cutting down of trees / forests is not allowed due to spans of transmission lines over the valleys.
