Today "High Voltage Electric Networks" CJSC signed Contracts with three successful Companies, which has been announced a winner at the end of the last year for the selection of General Contractor for reconstruction of “Haghtanak”, “Charentsavan-3”, “Vanadzor-1” and “Ashnak” substations within the framework of “Electricity Supply Reliability Project Additional Financing” and “Electricity Transmission Network Improvement” Project financed by the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
For reconstruction of “Haghtanak” substation the winner was announced Kaskad-Energo LLC of Russian Federation (at the extent of USD 14 091 352,00 Bid price), for reconstruction of “Charentsavan-3” substation - the Company Efacec Engenharia e Sistemas S.A., Portugal ( at the extent of USD 2 533 119,29, EURO 2 046 265,30 and AMD 658 639 773,45 Bid price) and for reconstruction of “Vanadzor-1” and “Ashnak” substations XIAN ELECTRIC ENGINEERING CO. LTD (respectively at the extent of USD 5 105 450,14 and USD 9 181 847,36 bid price).
At the end of 2018 within the framework of “Electricity Supply Reliability Project” at the expense of loan facilities provided by the World Bank, the above mentioned Companies will carry out the reconstruction and commissioning of all four substations which has decades of history and in the result of reconstruction and replacement of worn out and outdated equipment will be minimized emergency outages and losses, will be increased the reliability of energy system and power supply of consumers, will be reduced operating costs.
