
From April 12 to 14, a working group from the Iranian "Sanir" company, led by Director Mansour Saeedi, was in Yerevan. "Sanir" is the contractor for the construction of the "Iran-Armenia 400 kV Transmission Line and Noravan Substation" project.
During consultations held at High Voltage Electric Networks CJSC, discussions were focused on the progress of the "Iran-Armenia 400 kV Transmission Line and Noravan Substation" construction and the upcoming tasks.
Karen Hovhannisyan, General Director of High Voltage Electric Networks, emphasized the importance of the project in ensuring the reliable parallel operation of the Iranian and Armenian energy systems. He highlighted that the transmission line and Noravan substation must be constructed with high quality and within the set timeframe. He also assured that all possible support would be provided to the main contractor to successfully complete the construction.
Mansour Saeedi, Director of Sanir, expressed his gratitude to the Armenian partners for their prompt responses and willingness to address issues related to the project. He assured that every effort would be made to ensure that the construction of the Iran-Armenia 3rd high-voltage transmission line and substation is completed within the agreed timeframe.
The Armenian-Iranian working group also visited the Noravan substation construction site to inspect the progress of ongoing work. It was noted that significant advancements had been made in construction and electrical installation.
The construction of the "Iran-Armenia 400 kV Transmission Line and Noravan Substation" is scheduled for completion by the end of 2023.
